Update 37
We have been living with the challenges of the Corona pandemic for over a year now. Some important flow-on developments will stay with us into the future. These include, for example, the digitalization of business and industry, which has become more of a priority during the pandemic.
However other important long-term trends are also having an impact on the logistics and material handling industry:
- the global migration of people to cities,
- the increasing importance of e-commerce,
- the growing consumer demand for individual and fast solutions and
- the resulting pressure on our customers to serve increasingly complex consumer needs more efficiently.
To be able to compete, the need for automation with reliable, technological and digital innovations is increasing. The use of software solutions and data to actively manage business processes in a dynamic market environment is also an important consideration. As a logistics and material handling specialist, SSI SCHAEFER is the enabler here.
"Our main task is to enable our customers with solution-oriented material handling systems to meet the increasing expectations and needs of their customers more efficiently and sustainably," emphasizes CEO Steffen Bersch.
We hope you enjoy reading about these and a variety of other topics in our Update 37.
